Final week for Green Paper responses
Submissions to the Pipe Bands Australian Green Paper as part of the review of the national association’s structure close on Friday 31 May. A Green Paper (discussion paper) was released in December following the first stages of a national conversation with members, bands, branches and divisions on college that included forums in each state, an online survey and receipt of submissions in response to the discussion paper released when the review was launched. Options on structure and activity contained in the Green Paper came from that national conversation and additional research undertaken by members of the review panel of pipe band associations overseas and other national organisations in the arts, sport and community spaces. Members of the review panel have commenced considering submissions already received and continuing research and investigation of administrative and delivery models for functions and activities. The review was initiated following adoption of a discussion paper at the 2017 Pipe Bands Australia biennial national conference on investigating structural models for the association. Pipe Bands Australia appreciates the participation of members on the conversation to date and encourages members to make submissions on the Green Paper. Submissions from bands, members and branches are to be emailed to email@example.com The White Paper is expected to be released in July.
