Sir Rupert Hamer Award

The Sir Rupert Hamer Award is awarded annually in honour of our inaugural Chieftain, Sir Rupert Hamer AC, KCMD, ED. This award is the highest honour bestowed on a person by Pipe Bands Victoria with exception of a Life Membership.

This Years Recipient is Mr John McIver, a well deserved Winner. The Award was presented at the Victorian Pipe Band Championships held as part of the Melbourne Highland games And Celtic Festival on the weekend.
