Recently, three aspiring adjudicators from Australia’s sole Grade 1 band underwent a comprehensive day of training facilitated by the Principal of Piping, Scott Nicholson and enabled by a new, dedicated Pipe Bands Australia College online learning platform. 
I write to let all members of Pipe Bands Australia know of some significant changes that have occurred to the administration of the Association at the national level.
Originally from New Zealand, Scott was taught by Pipe Major John Downie of the City of Auckland Pipe Band. After completing a Bachelor of Marketing and Management, Scott relocated to Edinburgh playing with Drambuie Kirkliston Pipe Band for a competition season.
