Under 18 Contest: Event 4: Slow Air (min 32 bars of Music) Event 5: 2/4 Match (min.2 parted tune) Event 6: Strathspey & Reel (min 2 parted tunes) Event 7: Full Piobaireachd (printed music to be brought and supplied the day) NOTE: Champion Under18 piper will be determined over the 4 events on a 5 points for a first, 3 points for a second, 2 points for a 3rd and 1 point if unplaced but the tune is completed without a breakdown. Over 18: Restricted Contest (for D & C Grade players) Event 8: Slow Air (min 32 bars of Music) Event 9: 2/4 March (min.2 parted tune) 2 tunes to be submitted on the day. Event 10: Strathspey & Reel (min 2 parted tunes) 2 tunes with music to be submitted on the day. NOTE: The adjudicator will select your tune(s) from your list provided on the day Event 11: Full Piobaireachd (printed music to be brought and supplied the day) NOTE: Champion Over 18 Restricted piper will be determined over the 4 events on a 5 points for a first, 3 points for a second,2 points for a 3rd and 1 point if unplaced but the tune is completed without a breakdown. Over 18: OPEN Contest (for B & A Grade players) Event 12: 2/4 March (min.4 parted tune) 3 tunes with music to be submitted on the day. Event 13: Strathspey & Reel (min 4 parted tunes) 3 tunes with music to be submitted on the day. NOTE: The adjudicator will select one strathspey and one reel from your list provided on the day Event 14: Hornpipe & Jig (min 4 partez tunes) 3 tunes with music to be submitted on the day. NOTE: The adjudicator will select one hornpipe and one jig from your list provided on the day Event 15: Full Piobaireachd 3 Tunes to be submitted on the day along with the printed music. Your tune will be given 15 minutes before your play time. NOTE: Champion Over 18 Open piper will be determined over the 4 events on a 5 points for a first, 3 points for a second, 2 points for a 3rd and 1 point if unplaced but the tune is completed without a breakdown. NOTE: All Piobaireachd events will have a reader as well as a min. of one adjudicator.
