Adoption of Trial Rule

Following a request from the New South Wales branch of Pipe Bands Australia the National Management Committee has approved the implementation of a new Dual Registration Trial Rule for the next 12 months.

This trial rule will allow members of 4B bands to play with two different bands within the same day at local branch competitions.

This has been done with a view to support bands who are currently finding it difficult to attract players onto the competition field yet need the experience of the environment.

The success or otherwise of the trial rule will be evaluated during its implementation and reviewed after it has expired.
