Enrolment for Pipe Bands Australia’s Australian Pipe Band College examination can now be lodged online.

The online enrolment links have been added to the national website www.pipebandsaustralia.com.au on the education and training pages for piping, drumming, drill and dress and rules and administration.

Pipe Bands Australia last month announced that enrolment fees for preliminary and elementary examinations have been reduced to $5 until 30 June 2021 as part of assistance measures for members and bands in response to the coronavirus crisis.

Enrolment fees for other levels of the syllabus have been reduced by 50 per cent until 30 June 2020.

Following receipt of online enrolment, branch secretaries and the discipline’s vice-principal will be advised and arrangements made for examination.

The series of free online workshops being presented by Pipe Bands Australia continues this month with Principal Drumming Dean Hall on the topic Timing and Consistency for Snares, Tenors and Bass on Saturday 23 May.
