Pipe Bands Australia on behalf of Principal Jamie Robinson is pleased to invite members to a free workshop to be held 2 November.

Pipe Bands Australia – Workshop
‘Understanding how your PBA works and the fundamentals Pipe Band Contests’

11:00am AEDST – New South Wales, Tasmania, Victoria

Timing: 2 – 2.5 Hours

R&A Level: Elementary and Intermediate
Audience: All Band and Association administrators, Judges, Pipe Majors, Drum Majors
Cost: Free

To Register: Please email rules@pipebandsaustralia.com.au to register and confirm name of attendee, band (where applicable) and whether you’ll be attending in person or virtually.

Virtual participants will receive their invitation 24 hours prior to the event.

This session conducted by Pipe Bands Australia, Principal Rules & Administration, Jamie Robinson is for anyone who is keen to better understanding of how your Association works, how Pipe Band Contests are promoted, organised and run on the day and how we can contribute to progressing the Pipe Band movement in Australia.

Whilst targeted at providing the fundamental learning for those considering their R&A Elementary and Intermediate Certificates, the session will break down the PBA Rules and material elements of the Contest Regulations so that all attendees hopefully gain a better understanding of how our organisation works both generally and particularly on contest days.
