The City of Elizabeth Pipe Band is located in the City of Playford Council area in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. The Band is available for full-band and mini-band engagements in metropolitan and suburban Adelaide, as well as regional centres. A piping and drumming tuition program is offered.
The Band practices primarily on Thursday nights.
Performance highlights include:
- 2020 and 2021 – participated in the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant at Adelaide Oval;
- 2018 ‘The Battles O’er’ Event -100 years since the Armistice signing – part of the massed band parade in Adelaide;
- 2017-2019 – Hosted “The Adelaide Project Pipe Band” – a development band;
- 2016-2019 – Regularly participated in Anzac Day Commemoration Marches in Adelaide, suburban Christmas Pageant parades and the Adelaide City Christmas Pageant;
- 2016 – Participated in the Andre Rieu Concert at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
