Congratulations to our bands on Scottish circuit successes
Pipe Bands Australia congratulates the four Australian bands who this year competed on the Scottish circuit culminating with the World championships in Glasgow on Saturday.
The highlights for the 2017 Australian cohort was The Pipeband Club qualifying for the Grade 2 final, finishing in eighth place with the drum corp achieving second at the Worlds, and Scots School Albury runners-up in the Grade 4A Scottish Championships.
PBC and Scots School also achieved success at the Bridge of Allan Games.
The two bands along with St Andrew's from Brisbane and Governor Macquarie Memorial were also featured in Glasgow's George Square during the Piping Live festival.
All bands were great ambassadors for the Australian pipe band movement.
