Our world champion tenor drummer

Congratulations from Pipe Bands Australia to Indyana Bridgman of Scots School Albury who overnight won the Section 2 in the International Juvenile Tenor Drumming Solos at the World Solo Drumming Championships in Glasgow.

Indyana's section was for players aged between 14 and 17 and registered with a Grade 4A or Grade 4B band. She was required to play eight parts of 2/4 march music.

Fellow Scots School snare drummer Damon Wright was fourth in the Juvenile Section 1 of the World Solo Drumming Championships - Section 1 is for players aged 14 and under. Lachlan Coe was seventh in Section 2.

The Australian trio was part of the Scots School Albury band runners-up in the 2018 Grade 4A Scottish Championships and winners of this year's Singapore-South East Asia Championships.

They are also members of the Victorian Youth Pipe Band that will participate in the 2019 Belfast International Tattoo.
