Review survey, submissions close Wednesday
The member survey and submissions to the Pipe Bands Australia review close tomorrow – Wednesday 31 October.
The review follows the decision of national council at its biennial conference last September to investigate future options for the structure of Pipe Bands Australia and its core activities.
Members of the review panel – Jamie Forsyth, Richard Wilson, Chris Swan, Athol Chalmers and Chris Earl – are engaging with members, bands and branches as part of the national conversation.
The survey will remain open until 31 October. The link for members to complete the 10-15 minute survey is https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/W7NVCFQ
Members, bands and branches can also make written submissions to the review. Submissions close on 31 October and are to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Over the past month review forums have been conducted within the NSW, Victorian, Western Australian and Tasmanian branches.
The final state forums:
Queensland – Brisbane: Saturday 10 November 2pm. East Leagues Club, 40 Main Avenue, Coorparoo
South Australia – Adelaide: Wednesday 14 November 7.30pm. Kensington Park RSL Hall
The review panel will release its Green Paper (options paper) for discussion by members, bands and branches by 31 December.
